Finger printing

When filling out the profile, I am "assuming" finger printing means being able to take a thumbprint in your journal for the deed. Can someone let me know if this is correct?

Thank You!

My assumption for the fingerprinting was that the notary was able to offer fingerprinting services in addition to notary services. You can purchase the supply kits for fingerprinting and market that service as well.

Re: Finger printing need registration

Please bear in mind that if you are in Cllifornia you need to be registered with the California Department of Justice to offer fingerprinting services.

Re: Finger printing need registration

Is this different than being registered with the DOJ as a Notary?
Thanks.
