Finish Line

I work for them and here's what I have learned: they pay me whether the loan closes or not. They call me all the time BECAUSE I only charge $50 so I make more than I would if I charged $75. And that's just the beginning. Most signings don't take more than an hour, other do, but on average most take around 55 minutes. I work full time, and I don't charge my boss for my commute: if I did, he'd fire me. Also, if I told my boss "Oh today, I want XX per hour because this work is harder than usual," again, I would be fired. Plush: I do not have to worry about one paycheck from FINISH LINE. They all help me get my money on time. Not only that, I am rewarded by them with perks: I get gift cards, food coupons, all a show of good will. They take the risk and I get paid. It's a great wage for most of us who work as a notary part time, and even full time - you betcha - Lexus - no problemo. Hard work, yep. But Finish Line does the heavy lifting. NY BABZ

Yes, you will love them, and you will make money too. Call 916-735-1288 ask for Barbara.

What I find to be very suspicious is that Barbara is from NY and Bitella is also from NY. Bitella's profile was updated today and $50.00 for a signing is a waste of my time especially when the SS just makes phone calls to the notary that does the "work". I need to become a ss.

No, not really. Up to this point I've been posting as Anonymous!

Well there's your problem, you've got the mentality of an employee, not of an entrepenuer. Go ahead and knock yourself out on the $50 signings, leave the real paying jobs for the professionals.

Re: Cali - Beverly

When I go to "linear" mode on the board, I always do a quick scan to see who's posting...when I see the 'Calinotary' moniker...I read those first. Never fails - when I read his "shoot from the hips" posts I think....now, that's what I REALLY wanted to say. And I'm always guaranteed a smile at the veiled (or not so veiled) sarcasm.

He tells it like it is!!

Awwww you guys

It's nice to know I'm appreciated. I think I sprained something in my face by almost cracking a smile!

Perks?? Are you serious? I'd much rather choose my own food and gifts with my well earned and deserved $100 base fee - I've never, ever accepted anything less. "Goodwill" is paying signing agents in a timely manner.
