If you go to HPshopping.com you can do some research on printers based on the features you are looking for. If you are interested in an HP you can type in your zip where it asks for it and the site will provide you with stores that may carry the printer you are looking for. Or you can order it from them.

I called DELL small businesses and they gave me an instant 5000 dollar small business credit. I talked to the sales people and ordered exactly what I wanted and it was a pretty good price. It shipped to me in three days, and haven't had a problem with it. Also through in a state of the art laptop and a 20 inch flat screen monitor just because I still am a little kid inside. Hope this helps

That is what I have also. You can get the 2nd drawer for it or any other by going to "Google" and putting in the part number. I saved about $75.00 this way. Order the cartrides and drum by putting the numbers in Google and doing a search.

Brian, I was considering purchasing the Brother 8440, when you first purchase it does it come with the cartridge and drum or were you referring to when they need to be replaced? Thanks

I saw that model at Costco and it does come with the crtg and drm. After about 4 crtgs then the drum may need to be replaced. If you buy at Office Depot, they have a great ext wrrnty prgrm.

RE: drum
The drum is considered a "consumable" on a Brother, like toner. Usually duty cycle is 20,000 "average coverage" pages. Check at Brother.com for specs for sure. Brother, and others, have you replace "printing parts" i.e. drum unit, on regular basis for $$ and you keep on printing. With other brands of printers that don't have replacable ( user serviceable) printing parts, when you wear out parts, you spend $$$$$ to replace parts or junk it for a new printer. It's just a pay me now or pay me later situation. Quality non OEM (non BROTHER) drums, toner cartridges, or refills for Brother cartriges are availble. I love my Brother machines, 1 laser fax and two laser printers. Lower in cost to operate I believe. PCL 6 also. Check Consumer Reports , I believe MAY 05 report on printers. Guts (working printer parts) should be the same between MFC's and plain printers at same level, I.E. page/min and drum # S/B same.

You know, you do not have to buy a vowel here. Vanna doesn't work here or read this board. Can you please spell things out.
