IS J.M.T SIGNING CO A GOOD COMPANY
I recieved my first call from JMT and they want me to notarize a loan for only $50.00 I tried to explain that the standard fee that charge is $125.00 in California for a two signature loan. I was told " no " they would not budge on the figure. Anybody out there with any feedback/

I have done signings for them many times--always paid on time and great to help you if you need it In Ohio the base is always $50.oo and if you can ever get more you are very lucky 50 miles for $50 is mor the norm than not from the many companies I work with If you can tell me how to get more I'd love it

I actually got $65.00 for the last one, but it was only because the woman who called said O.K. because she just wanted to go home!

I hate to burst any bubbles, but in CA there is no standard, just like in every other state. Fees are whatever the market will bear...and with the glut of notaries in CA it is rare to get $125 for overnight docs unless you have a long standing relationship with the particular title company or lender.
That being said...
With regard to JMT, they are a reputable, well established company that pays promptly.
