I need suggestions HELP~

Someone I personally know has a power of attorney from Mexico, notarized and written in Mexico. The wife needs to use power of attorney here in the states to sell her home. She was told that it must be translated & notarized in CA in order to be used here. They are mexican citizens that own property here and the husband is out of town and can no longer cross the US border. Therefore he cannot personally appear before me. The translation has been completed and certified. I have knowledge that the husband did sign the power of attorney. Can this sort of thing be notarized? I was thinking perhaps by subsribing witness. Any suggestions? TIA

I agree a subscribing witness. Maybe the one that did the translation.

Re: question

Subscribing witness for who's signature and signature on what. Not his. Surley the POA was notarized when it was written up, so you are not going to notarize it again. He had nothing to do with the translation that was certified. You must realize there are a lot of liabilites here! Best to get a spanish-english speaking notary involved or better yet a lawyer.
