I've Heard from Elite Signing. Have you?

Hey Notaries. Today, I got a pre-recorded message from the owner of Elite Signings in Illinois, promising a personal call next week and payment arrangments. Anybody else get this message? If so, what do you think?

I think he's probably in between a rock and a hard place. If all the people who have posted saying he is being sued by many notaries in a "class action type" of suit then maybe that is a requirement to stay out of jail?

I'll be happy getting the money I'm owed. We'll see when or if I get the check.

If any of you have been stiffed by Elite Signing Services, the former owner is Rich Barry. His phone number is 815-479-9505 and his address is 4815 Strong Rd Crystal Lake, IL 60014. He owes me $100 from last spring; I don't really ever expect to see the money, but at least I have a phone number and address for him so I can keep trying.

In case anyone's interested, there is a potential class action lawsuit against this individual. If you're one of the many notaries or attorneys who did work for this company and weren't paid, contact David Clements at 650 544 8468.
