I've been thinking if a SS dosen't pay.....

I bet if we went directly to that title company and explained that we were the notary who signed the loan and the SS kept the money without paying us we could really hurt their business. I think it is really unfair and most of the time the TC don't even know the SS has nonpayment issues. Letting the SS know that is the next step if they don't pay they would lose business. I hope this makes sense. Just a thought....

I tried that once. The response? "Oh honey just keep bugging them, that's what they do to us!" After many phone calls & faxes, I finally got paid. From my experience, 90% of the SS's pay within a reasonable amount of time. The remaining 10% are s-l-o-w. I have never been not paid at all.
