Ink Color

When they specify the ink color to be blue, does it matter if the notary uses black? My eyes were a bit off and the pen I used was black and the borrowers used blue. Any info would be appreciated.

If it was specfied to use blue ink that was for all parties involved. You may want to give the SS a call to give them a heads up. just my 2 cents worth

recently read a post where it was stated that the notary signature had to be black. Don't remember the state.

Did a signing last week where blue ink was specifed. I called title to be sure they wanted my certificates done in blue because I heard/read somewhere that blue doesn't photocopy as well as black, possible problem with the county recorders office. They thought that was a great point and said only have borrower sign in blue.
