Just had two closings cancel for tonight, both from Capital One. They sent their employees home at noon.

I Just Happen to be a Notary in Orlando...

...however my commission is in Missouri so I don't believe my services will be worth your pursuing. To clarify, I'm on vacation here this week in the Orlando area with my family & we breathed a sigh of relief when Katrina decided to stay south. The Orlando area is experiencing intermittent showers with a few 20-30 mph wind gusts mixed in. Other than that today has been the coolest day of the week temperature wise. Katrina shouldn't hinder anyone in this area from performing their signing duties.

By the way, for the more "mature" (defined as those who've been around for 4+ years or more) posters on this & other message boards, I'd like to take this opportunity to say my good byes. I'm taking leave of the signing industry & not looking back. I know there'll be some who say "good riddance", but then I've come to expect that from those in that camp. I hope others will say I've made more than a few positive contributions to the advancement of the discourse on the board. It's really been an amazing "career" & there've been many lessons learned...a few good & a few bad. In any event it's time to move on.

I pray all of you have much future success in this chosen field & keep everything in its proper perspective as you do so.

I am sad to hear you are leaving us! Please pop in every now and then and let us know how you are doing. I don't post often but have learned so much from this board and from you. I have always learned from your posts. You will be missed.

Boy has it been almost five years already? Remember when we oldies Kathy Poston, Suzanne Neely, Tula-Mi, Sylvia, DonR. NYC, Victoria Rivera, Art the attorney, Art Gentry, Marilyn MI, Barb Indiana, Sue K (trying to decide if she should give up her real job to do this full time) Maureen-NH, Jessup (yikes), Michael Cooper, gosh and all the others that I cannot remember used to hash out, discuss, debate on the proper way to do closings/signings?

Amazing the same old arguments/issues are still here 5 years later................well Dennis, I wish you and your family the best.
