LoanSigners inc
What is the deal with this company? Is it a regular signing service? They sent me an e-mail saying I can sign up for "free" I have never paid a SS to sign up with them. Any suggestions on how to handle this? Thanks

I have done work for them in the past and been paid on time. They may be looking for new notaries in your area.

Do you have to pay them a fee?

They were probably just making it sound good to you,... There are some companies who do require a payment.. I don't pay anything either. If they say you can sign up with them for free, well then I say go for it. I don't know how else to handle that.. Sign up or don't. There are way too many signing agencies out there with no charge, to pay to sign... Good luck !!

I've done a lot of signings for them and they did pay on time. They do have a pretty detailed web site and are trying to push a referral plan. I just do signing for them. They never ask me to pay. They do quite a bit of business in my area at least.

As someone who works for a title company, we experience time crunches sometimes when scheduling closings. We had called them twice last week in a bind, left messages on what we were needing, and we never heard back from them. Just an FYI, not so sure if they're reliable.

If in a crunch, use this site and "find a notary" button. There are a lot of pros on this site. If they couldn't help, I'm sure they could help you find someone thru their contacts. I myself keep a list of reliable SA taped in my wallet so I can refer SS/TC to someone if I can't do the closing. I bet a lot of pro SA keep a similar list.
