Wanted to know if anyone had recent dealings with the company.
I accepted a signing for edocs for one loan and received edocs with 1st & 2nd!

They sent their own invoice that states,
"I understand that if I am requested to provide a jurat/acknowledgment for a notary mistake made, I will not receive payment and I (Notary Public) will re-sign the file at no expense."

It appears if a jurat/acknowledgment is not notarized I will not be paid and I may have to resign at no fee. If my error I would correct for free, but not the entire signing fee waived. They will basically get the loan signed for free!

Thinking this sounds a little scamish to me.

My apt is set for 8:00 California time. As it stands I did email back and state I would not be going to the signing until this was cleared up as well as a confirmation from the borrower.

Would love to hear what you think.

Lori
