Nations Direct and Ditech
FYI, got a call from Nations Direct today...Ditech is going edocs in a few weeks and they will only pay $20. Wow, as if the $40 fee they offer on their signings wasn't insulting enough. I told her no way, I needed a minimum of $75, not $60 for edocs or it doesn't make sense for me to do them anymore. She said, sorry, guess you won't be doing them then!
Boycott Nations Direct and their horrible fees!!

You are Right about that. With gas prices the way they are and time very important. They are now offering Coolie wages. Do they think we are that desperate.

Unfortunately, too many ARE that desperate. If everyone told them no, they'd have no choice but to pay a decent amount.

I hit the "enter" key too quickly and didn't finish my reply. Perhaps when you learn some grammar skills, you'll be seen as a professional. Then, you'll be able to charge what the job is worth.

We'll sign any loan for $39.95 and as a parting gift you may keep the pen, as always your choice of black or blue ink.

Nations Direct edocs and 17-21 fax back pages and approval
Hold out for more money. I get 100.00 + for edocs. I tell them my qualifications, how many loans I've closed loans etc. etc. plus I always mention the # of fax backs and how many years I've been closing loans. Remember if you lower your fee, next time they call they will try to get you for the same low fee. I know, they have a record in front of the scheduler when they call for a closing and they know exactly how much your fees are. They are playing a BIG game to see how much of a BACKBONE you have. Stand TUFF! One time, the closing was in my own neighborhood and the scheduler called me about 6 times. I told him I was available and would be happy to complete the closing for X amount of dollars. He said he would get back to me. He was begging me to do the closing. Finally on the 7th or 8th call I got my fee. Of course you need to do an errror free closing to command top dollar. For those of you who are still doing closing for ND make sure you check the HUD/settlement statement to see how much money Nations Direct is receiving for your work. You will be shocked. Several years ago I completed a closing for ND and they were receiving $240.00. Stand FIRM and don't let them intimidate you. There are other fish in the sea.

...Finally on the 7th or 8th call I got my fee...
While everyone certainly can run their business the way they want to, I would have had considerable fee increases with each of those phone calls, after the second call.
