No Loan Signing Requests
I joined the Notary Rotary several weeks ago and have not received one job. Is it just generally slow for everyone?

It depends on the area you live in. Large populated areas are going to have more than rural areas.

I think everyone's beginning is a "little slow." However, please sign up with as many companies as possible to get your name/profile in everyone's data base. Don't just rely on 1 or 2 sights.

I had one a week for two weeks in a row and nothing since then. I will be trying to sign up on a few other boards.

Scroll down to the "Getting My Name out there" and read Dogmongger's reply. He/She listed several websites where you can get started.

Well I would say your a genius or at least a great source of knowledge. Took your advice, went on the site for Source of Title and I am already approved to have my info out there being advertised! Thanks again

I have been telling my wife for years the same thing, and she is not buying it. PS disregard my other post under the same header, the genius hit the wrong button:-o

Brain Surgeon/Fry Cook, its a tough job but someone's
got to do it. Multi-tasking is good, besides I suspect that one can find striking similarities in the two professions.

I saw that last night. My goal for the day is to check each of those sights as well as at least 10 more. Thanks.

Diane It usually takes more than several weeks to start receiving a regular flow of calls. Since I upgraded to the Premium Membership on this site, the number of calls I have received has greatly increased; however, it didn't happen all of a sudden. Another response suggests that you sign up withmany companies. If you haven't already done so, I recommend the same advice.

Join as many notary websites as possible to get your name out there. Use your budget wisely. You need to do a search on Google.com. Any notary web service that shows up on the first two pages, I join to get my name out there. I have great results. I have received numerous signings from every website. Even If I only get one for the year, it pays for the advertising and puts cash in my pocket.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but I certainly would NOT depend on listing with notary websites to get business. You need to register directly with as many signing services as you can. The recommended number that has been thrown around here is 200. And if you haven't yet, read message #33325. (I hope I got that right!) Also, you will get much better responses if you post what state you're from as part of your online "name".
