No wonder Loan officers get a bad name.

I had a signing Saturday. Ms borrower was very unsure of the loan. A very young widow with many children. When she had a question I told her to call her LO, she did. After the 3rd phone call, mind you we are only on page 5, the LO tells her to hurry up and sign everything and GET THE NOTARY OUT OF THERE. She told me this after she hung up from him. I told her to call him with all the questions she wanted, I was in no hurry. 3 hours later we finally finished. If I had acted like he did, she would of refused to sign this loan. Why some of these LO think pressuring the borrowers will get the loan signed quicker is beyond me. I could tell it was what she actually wanted, but was confused as to what was in the documents and needed him to clarify it. I felt so sorry for her, I asked if there was someone else who could go over this with her that she knew and trusted before her RTC was up. She said no, even her parents would try and get some of the money she was getting back. She wanted to fix up her house.
