Occupational License Question
What category of business is the signing agent classified as for the FL occupational and city licenses? Anyone in FL? TIA.

In Florida you are considered a "mobile" company if you are a mobile notary. Check with your home county tax collector's office and they will tell you if you need an occupational license or not. Some "mobile" companies do not need an occupational license in Florida. It depends on the county requirements. Hope this helps.

I know that I do need to get one but just wondering what most classifications are for those who have gotten them here as many times, they are confused when you get there and give you wrong types and fees vary depending on the nature of the business, at least for the city licenses anyway, and I plan to get the city and county licenses. Thanks.

My county has me listed as a notary for the category. (St. Lucie if that helps)
