Overpayment

How many of you have had this lately? Twice this month, I have been for the same signing twice. I called both and let them know so accounts could be corrected.

Only once. Sent the 2nd check back to the TC via priority w/ delivery confimation with a letter letting them know that I had already rec'd payment for that signing and was showing a 0.00 balance for their company. Got an email later from the vendor mngmt saying thank you, it had something to do with a computer glitch.

I too got a payment for a closing I had already been paid for. When I called the company that hired me, they were greatful, and just said they'd apply it to another closing I did for them that I hadn't been paid for yet.

This has happened to me as well. I called the TC and they were very grateful, and I returned the check. They are now one of my regular companies.
