Problems in Western New York

I have never had a problem with my fee of $65-$75 for refis in this part of the world, however, as of late none of the SSs that I have called will accept anything more than $50.00. It seems that I have a new SA in the area accepting closing for less than $50.00. The larger SSs are still paying what I would normally charge, I wonder how long it will be until they get to this new SA, he or she is cheapening my professional standard and not playing by the book.

If you are having a problem in upper NY where it isn't as populated with people and signing agents. Think what we are going through closer to NYC. I always say there is always someone who will work for less. It happens in my Tax practice and also in signings. There is just so many hours in a day. I do a good job in both professions and if I want to gobble up all the work I will be to tired and not doing a professional job in either. Just hang in there and keep up the good work with your regulars.

In NW PA: I won't do a signing less that $75.00 isn't worth it...Stick to your standards. I lose some too...
