Richmond Title... anyone have updates?
I worked for them one night. They were desperate for a notary. I told them they had a bad rap with the notary community and the only way I would do the closing was if they overnighted me a check. After I rec'd the check I would then send the docs out. They did just that! And I was happy as a clam! They have called me a few times since then. I wasn't comfortable taking the signing (too far away to risk non-payment). They aren't as willing to overnight me a check as before. So, I am wondering if anyone here has worked for them this year and what the outcome was? Thanks, April

I did two signings for them and did get paid but the last one only after I told them I would contact the lender and their states attorney general, now that was only 2 months after the signing but title companies should be paying at the close of the transaction.

The last closing I did for them was on May 25, 2005, that was out of the Nashville Tenn. office

I've done at least 4 or 5 for them in the last 2 or 3 months. I always get my check about 2 weeks after the closing. Are you talking about the one in TX??
