Second time . Any advice please...

I've got a call for a loan siging today . He said he found me from this site and asked me if I did it before. I said no, but I am certified by AP. I can do it. He said OK, I will call you back. I didn't get a call in 30 minutes than I called him back . He said he is waiting a phone call from his client. He'll call me as soon as possible. I did not get any call and I did not call him back after that. What I am doing wrong? Wasn't it ok to tell him this will be my first signing? I am honest person. Also english is my second language do you think he didn't like my english? This happens me second time. Any advice please...

It could be a couple of things. He may have decided to go with someone with more experinece. Or worse, he had a problem with your english which I hope is not the case. Did he ask you how much experience you have? don't volunteer that information unless you are asked, you must have been trained, that counts for expereince. Everyone had their first signing once, yours will come. Be patient, being on this site is a great place to start. They will find you here. I don't think you did anything wrong. Good Luck.

I agree. Don't fret. Some SS are picky and somewhat they have a right to be. But the more reasonable ones will give a new kid a try even if they need to coach you through. Even with experience, I'm finding that if an SS calls me first time they are more liable to micro-manage until they see the quality of my work.

Here's a couple of tips, nothing extraordinary, just common sense:
(1)while you're waiting for the calls to come to you. Go ahead and do your research (the orange button is your friend) here on NotRot. Try to search for the best methods, get names of SS that are open to trying new kids.

(2)register with as many SS as you can

(3)and . . . relax we've all been at square one before - you'll be fine.
