One time they called me to fix errors from other notary and offered me 25.00 and they wanted me to keep the old date for the package.

Not withstand other post my one experience with them was ok. I got paid within 30 days. They are a low paying company but for what I did for them I was ok with. Good luck.
Disclaimer: The view pointed out above is based on only one closing of within 15 miles of my address. Docs were overnited to borrower and I got paid $75.00. This may not be my opinion for the next time I deal with Speedy Closing. Just joking.

I've never had a problem with Speedy Closings..

and I know that other people have. They told me right up front that they pay at the end of the month for all signings completed the prior month. I just received a check on the 28th for a June 25th signing.

I just followed their instructions and I've never had a problem.

Re: I've never had a problem with Speedy Closings..

Wow. I am surprised at these replies. Like Cherilyn I have never had a problem. Invoice them in total at the end of one month, check is there at the end of the next month. When I have to go further than I would for their fee, I tell them I need more money. If it is there for them, I get it. If not we both agree that it would be best to get someone closer to the borrower. No hard feelings. I like working with them. Lots of the closings I have done are HELOCs. In and out. And re-fi's are not difficult either. So...

For me, I would rather have a $75.00 payer than $150 payer that I have to chase for months to get paid.

Ditto here on Speedy...

Never had a problem with Speedy, with fees or payment. I'll work for them again.

$365 for 2 signings

I've worked with Speedy for a few months. If you can show them what you deserved they won't hesitate. I did 2 right before EOM but TC got the HUD wrong on one and forgot a QCD on the other, I made 4 trips within 10 miles each for $365.

For record, I got my check on the 7/20 for June, and the 6/15 for May signings. I think Frank is trying to get up the speed.

Speedy sucks.

And I would never work for them again. Rude and have to chase down payment.

If you having problems with no or slow payment by Speedy Closings in NJ. And the title company was Fiserv, you can call Kathy Jud at 1-800-842-8423. She is with Fiserv's vendor management department and let her know your situation.
