They must think we are desperate....
Got a call this morning from an out of state Title Company wanting to know if I could do a signing in the next couple of hours with e-docs. The borrower was leaving on vacation and they needed to get it signed. Sure I can do that what are you paying? She says $75 and that includes the e-docs and it is only 12 miles from you. I could not believe this was coming from a Title Company. So I quote my fee and also explain that the only way that it is 12 miles is by crow over the corn fields. She says she will have to call me back.
Well never calls back.. The sad thing is someone took it, probably the same one who takes the 40.00 jobs that I turn down on a daily basis.
