Who knew August 5th would be EOM????

I am just venting here, but I have had to turn down 6 appts for Friday, because I thought it would be a safe day to take a 3-day weekend trip out of town.
With my luck, next Friday, when I am here, there will be nothing going on!
Anyone else get slammed for tomorrow, or is it just me?

Slammed! I'm calling it EOM rollover. I've taken the first week of the month off the past three months because it's usaully a slower time. I've made up for the two weeks I took off last month this week alone.

From a SS perspective, I would have to agree with you. BUSY BUSY BUSY.. there used to be a time when the beginning of the month was slow but to my understanding, some lenders are giving the brokers certain incentives to close loans at different times throughout the month. This may help explain why things have changed so drastically...

I don't think August 5th is EOM - I have 4 scheduled for Monday the 8th and have turned down 3 others because of travel times.
