loan doc forms question

Hi I just completed a home study loan certirfication course and have a question about the Name Affidavit and Compliance Agreement. On the Affidavit are you supposed to administer an oath or affirmation? And I noticed the Compliance Agreement has a place for the Notary to sign but no certificate are you supposed to sign this without a certificate or do you attach one?

Thank you!

signature affidavit yes...and compliance agreement does have a notarial worded section at the bottom of the doc, which must be notarized.

Not all signature affidavits and compliance agreements have a notary certificate. You must look to see what type of certificate is there to determine whether or not an oath is needed to be administered.

Lately, I've been noticing a lot of signature and name affidavits not requiring notarization. Therefore, none is done.

Again, only if a notary certificate is present, or otherwise directed, does a notary perform a notarial act as prescribed by the certificate or instructions.
