signing up with SSs
Hi, I have just started signing up with SSs and they seem to want a copy of my notary stamp, I called the NNA and they stated that it was only to be used for offical notarial acts and not to give it to them, now another one is asking for it? Also the contract states that you may not to solicit or accept any assignment from any client introduced by them, does that mean that you may not solict a title co. or lender if they have ever done business with them? TIA

they ask but if they don't get it, it shouldn't be a problem if you send a copy of your commission and bond. On those contracts they do not want you to solicit the title companies that they have given you signings from. For example, If the SS uses U.S. Title and you get the signing, you shouldn't call on them directly to cut out the SS. However, if the title company calls me directly, I would take the job.

When they ask for a stamp, I always send them this:-)
