well this is getting ridiculous

I was supposed to do a signing at 2 p.m., sat around waiting for docs, had to contact the signing company several times, then they called me back and said it would have to be for 6 p.m. instead, ok, then I get a call from the lender, took down his phone numbers, it is 4:30 still no docs, so I call the lender, he gives me another guy to call but wants me to call him back after I talk to the other guy. The other guy tells me the docs will be ready in 10 minutes but then right before I get off the phone, he says to play it safe make it 20 minutes. How many times am I supposed to call these people back? that is an excessiver waste of my time to relay their messages to each other

This is simple. You just tell the lender that if you don't have the docs by X time, they'll have to find somebody else to do the signing. As for all the phone calls, simply tell them you don't have the time to be making all these calls (tell them you have to head into a signing if you want an excuse), that somebody needs to get back to you and let you know when the docs will be ready.

It's not our job to babysit these people on edocs. They can only take advantage of you if you let them do it.

Tell the title co. you have to bill for your time and babysitting. Also your signing service. It is the end of the month they want the loan signed.

no message relays!!.....they will put you through constant knee jerks....specify your cut-off time for total docs package, and if they do not deliver cross them off.....professionalism works both ways

You should set a cut off time for E-docs. If you don't, your whole day can get screwed up, i.e. rescheduling appts., which isn't fair to you or to the other borrowers.

I accepted the job at 10 o'clock this morning for an 8:00PM appointment. I Just got back from 2 appointments and docs were sent to me 1/2 an hour ago. If the original appt. is reschedule once there is a good chance it will not be ready for the postponed time. In this is the case I usually call the borrowers to tell them I'll be there when I get the docs and continue on accepting/doing other things.
