I just read on this site or GMN that their packages are always huge, but I had one last week that was only about 55 pages.

I ask because...

I have had two different ss's call me to do Countrywide edocs both offering $85. Neither one called back of course when I asked for a bit more. I asked them how big the package was and of course they didn't know.

Avg - CW doc package size are -80-95 pages, then add the 15 or more pages from the title company.

I think the smaller pkgs are the HELOC's...just did one this morning that was 54 pages. Have also done regular mortgages that were 85 to 100 pages.

there is a new problem with their e-mail documents, they are now including an additional 24
pages of "closing instructions" that have nothing to do with the notary or borrower, you also
have to print the extra paperwork with the borrowers copies. I recently did a 2 loan signing
for them and had to print 4 copies of the closing instructions which is about an additional
100 pages. I did ask for a get some extra money but requested that they e-mail the closing instructions separately to the excrow officer.

Re: Countrywide loans... Are they generally smaller packages

I did one yesterday that was 134, only two pages to notarize, but I had to copy and send some of the docs to two different addresses. Not that much fun, but they did meet my fee.

Re: Countrywide loans... Are they generally smaller packages

I have been doing CW signings lately and all in Spanish. Mine have been long and do take a while. I couldn't believe the 24pp of instructions at first.
I have not had to send packages to different addresses yet, are the instructions clear when they request that?

I am trying to get better fees for CW and Ameriquest docs but still get people telling me " we don't pay that, we pay this only" .
