Do you use again the waste toner that you empty from...
the cartridge or should I just throw it away?

I always just ship mine back to the mfr. via ups. I don't know why. I guess I figure that they are secretly keeping track, and after like 10, they'll send me a freebie..........What a loser I am!

You can reuse some of them. Go to www.tonerkits.com Most toner cartridges can be filled 2-3 times with no problem.

Maybe I didnt explain my self good. I was told here in the forum that you have to empty the toner waste chamber in the cartridge. So my question is if someone have used the "used toner"again. I look at it and it looks just like the new one I thought it will look like "cooked" or something.
Thank you

1) - I don't empty the waste toner. Once the waste bin is full, I replace the cartridge.
2) - You should not use the tone from the waste bin if you do empty it. The toner is ionically charged to properly adhere to the paper during the electrostatic transfer. Once the toner is spread on the charged paper, it looses some of its charge and may not 'adhere' to the paper during the next pass.

How do you know all this stuff? Ionically bionically charged what? Your head must be the size of three ordinary men. Anyway, I just ship mine back for recycling.

I worked at NEC Technologies, printer group for many years while I was learning how to be a real geek. At that time, NEC printer were 'the' printers for the home user and small to medium offices. And that was after working at Wang Labs for 12 years. This kind of stuff just sticks in my head.
As for the charging stuff, rather than me trying to explain it here (which would take too much space and bandwidth), check out http://computer.howstuffworks.com/laser-printer10.htm if your interested in how laser printers work. "How Stuff Works" is a great collection of information on just about anything you want to know about.

Re: Do you use again the waste toner ......NO
I just throw it away. I don't want to take a chance that it will gum up the works. It's not worth the chance.
