Finish Line
I did a search and found some posts related to this company. What I want to know is how they are about payment. I did a signing for them probably 2 weeks ago now and they agreed to my fee. They weren't a problem to work with, everything was smooth sailing. I got another request today and accepted and they again agreed to my fee. Does anyone know for sure if they pay or how long it takes them to pay? I am a little weary but I haven't ever really had too many problems with companies that dont pay. Im just hoping this isn't going to be my first and would like some feedback in the event anyone has done any work for them recently. Thank you so much.

I was paid in less than 30 days for a signing that I did for them in October. There were issues with the borrower and I had to go out again. They met my fee and were very nice to work with.

I've just started working with them and haven't received payment as of yet. They are very nice to work with, although lower payers than some of my other companies. I had a signing last night (a signing from hell). Took an hour to get thru most of the packet and the borrower stopped signing and said she wasn't going through with the deal. She had 10 documents to go and we would have been done.
I faxed FL last night and followed up with a phone call this morning. They called me back and apologized for the nightmare of a signing and said they will pay the full fee for the signing.
FL is the only company that has recruited me telling me to lower my fees and increase my volume. I know how some people in this forum feel about SS saying that. If you object, don't contact them.

I went on a signing for them tonite and talk about signing from hell. The borrowers weren't very nice to begin with. I was a half hour late because I couldn't find the house (it was a condo in a large complex and was one of the ones tucked in a corner that you couldn't really tell was even one of the condos) and to top it all off my phone had no service where I was. So I was trying to call for FOREVER I finally had to leave the complex and go to a parking lot to call them. I drove up while I was still on the phone with them and luckily didn't lose the call but they had already called Finish Line.
Then to top it all off, the docs were ready immediately after they called me at 10:30 this morning. So I printed them. When I went back in at around 2 pm (signing was at 4) to double check and make sure I had printed correctly there was another package in the que (it was elynx docs) and I called and asked if they were different because they didnt appear to be. The girl called title and called me back and told me that she was told there wasn't any difference but if at all possible use the most recent docs. I figured that if there wasn't any difference I would not waste my paper.
I get to the signing and the borrower informs me that the note and a couple other docs are wrong. Come home tonite and look at the second set of docs more closely and come to find out they WERE different and correct. So now I hafta go back out and have them resign the ones that were incorrect. I dont feel its fair considering no one called me to let me know of the changes and even when I did call to make sure there weren't any I was told no, although I suppose I should have just reprinted the second set. Still I may not even have known there was ever a second set at all if I hadn't just happened to go in and check over the docs.
I dont mind having to go back out but Im sure these borrowers aren't going to be happy about it. I did tell them that I might have to when he found that the note was incorrect. So I covered myself there. Sheesh. Oh well. I just hope the company pays me on time for this and that my fee isn't lowered. I am going to contact them in the morning.

The people at Finishline are the best. They pay every month without fail. Plus they are always there if you need a question answered or have a problem.
