Great Tool for understanding loans

Hello, I am new and so was looking for more information on understanding loans. My friend told me about a website that has mortgage lingo, calculators, loan process, and tons of other useful information. www.greatloansandhomes.com thought I would share this info as many new people may not understand everything. P.S. you can also enter to win one months mortgage payment under the sweepstakes link. :-)

Huh ! How now?

You may be new, but you sound like you're advertising the site mentioned in your post. Why are you posting as Anon? If you want info from this forum, all you need do is ask, and include your nome de plume and your state. That way no one will think you're trying to plug a mortgage broker that you're working for/with.

Re: Huh ! How now?

As far as my anon It was the default setting on this system. I didnt know how to change it until just this post as this is my first ever post. I found this information useful and like I said a friend who is another notary told me about it because that is where she got all her info. Just thought I would share the information and not be crucified by somone else. Obviously you are well aquainted with being a notary and probly have forgotten what it was like when you first started. I have only done one signing and the same friend reffered me to this site. Thought it would be great for the new people. Sorry I even posted the site. Geez

Well, geez....if your skin is that thin, you chose the wrong profession. My sincere apologies for assaulting your senses. BTW, you still didn't say what state your in.

Re: Huh ! How now?

Thank you Deedee for the information. I get where you're coming from and I don't think at all that you were trying to promote a site.

I think the info would be good for new folks wanting to learn more about loans, etc...As for me, I already know enough because I've dealt with mortgages for about 14 years now, but I think it would be great resources for someone new.

Good luck!

Re: Huh ! How now?

I looked at the site and there's a lot of good information under the FAQ section and also the Glossary. Thanks Deedee.
