Thanks for the warning. It's now up to 2 below zero. Regular heat wave from 6:00 a.m. I have 3 signings, all pretty close to home.

It's temps like this when my fashion statements either go out the window or I make new ones. I can't find my boots in the house. They are either in the snowmobile trailer or in the back of the Blazer. I hope they are in the Blazer because I don't want to be messing with the trailer for fear I will be stuck to it for some time.

No, I haven't left yet. Just printed the docs for my 11:00. UPS just delivered docs for my 1:00 and I haven't gotten the docs for my 5:00 yet.

Gotta find my boots though -- oh, and my gloves!

Re: hope you have a engine heater

When I lived in upstate PA, I had a engine heater I plugged in every night. Sure made the engine, and the insides, warm up a lot quicker.
I assume they come standard on car sold in CO.

Hubby did better for me. He installed a remote start -- I can press the button on my remote while I'm inside the house and the engine will start, turn the heater/defrosters on, and be all nice and toasty when I go out.

Re: remote start...

Those are awesome. I had one installed in my car in Chicago. I just bought a new Malibu and it has it too. I have my 9yr old stepson believing that all I do is say Malibu sart!

Hi! Art,
Nope not standard yet. But I have off the road, all terrain tires, 4x4 mighty Jeep! Have a tow chain and chains for the tires in the back at all times. Survival kit , blankets, water you name we all carry it for the winter in Colorado. Nothing more fun then being stranded for 9 hours on these roads-how do I know? don't ask! lol The snow drifts really bad here and black ice just to add interest, very deadly conditions. White outs-just pull over and wait. Other then that I don't see anything wrong with our weather. LOL

Have Great Day Art!

And the muffler too! I'm still hanging for edocs so I don't have to drive home again, just want to get going and get those "signings done" it's to cold to dilly-dally today. Trying to wrap-it up early today. Hate those icy roads at 10 at night.
Time to Bug'um again for my docs.

Have a Great Day !

I only found one of my gloves this morning...

Why do I wait until the last minute to start looking for my winter stuff?

My signings today are in Greeley and I'm staying here! The roads are a little to slick for my liking, even in 4wd.

Stay warm!

Re: Cause it's fun trying to find them! LOL

I gave up on the boots because I'm sure they are in the snowmobile trailer and I didn't want to get myself stuck to the lock in the process of retrieving them. Instead, I found my leggins and wore them, trying to cover up most of my hiking boots in the hopes that they would look more like the boots that were *supposed* to be on my feet. Quite the fasion statement, I must say.
