How bad can it get...Vent
I've heard bad experiences from all sides (TC/SS/Lenders), but this one is gets the burn biscuit award. I did a last minute signing yesterday where the borrowers were so pi$$ that they called the last notary a b*tch. This notary made two trips to the borrowers. First trip with only the HUD and 19 pages of junk docs, came back with docs then, borrowers refused to sign the payment letter (before seeing the note) b/c lender made a mistake having the hazard insurance same as tax amount for escrow. Borrowers also complaint the notary didn't present what doc they were signing except for only the signature page. What's bad is as soon as they refused to sign the payment letter the notary wouldn't let them look at anything futher from the stack and took off.
It's getting so bad in the area that even the lowballs (SS) are meeting my merciless(sp?).
