IL Amendment to Title Insurance Act

The current Title Insurance Act actually prohibits title companies and signing companies from contracting with notaries. While many companies still do, there are many more out there that have stopped working in IL. Once this amendment is passed it rewrites the act and allows title companies and signing companies to contract with notaries and will bring back a lot of business that has left our state, as well as allow more local companies to contract with notaries. This is a very positive bill for Notary/Signing Agents and would only produce more work for us!
