I yi yi!...

Got a call to go to HFC at 1:30, I accept and then throw myself into a panic because my nails need done (really badly) and if you know anything about fluorescent lights, they do not compliment anything! So I pack up the ornery 4 year old whom promises to be good, off to the bail salon with books to read we go.
Get there - packed, darn, we wait, she's a perfect little angel all the way up til I get called. Then well you know...
While I'm sitting there I thought Oh Crap! I have my stuff in the washer! Will it be dried and done in time for the appt?
Okay! That's $17.00 ma'am and I whip out my credit card to pay and it's declined! Expired last month. Darn!
I call my angel of a hubby that is taking a late lunch to watch the munchkin and he reads me another number over the phone. Great that went thru. As I'm getting into the car IREP calls again and gives me a back to back. Great! I call my angel and tell him how about not only late but long? Well, he informs that that things are crashing at work and he is putting out fires all day.
I sure hope this isn't an indication of how the whole day is going to be...

SO....how's your day going? I'm waiting for my clothes to dry....

Waiting for e-docs....the story of my life....

I think that's what's going to end up on my tombstone...."Here lies Tina, she passed waiting for e-docs. The long wait is finally over."

Lol Tina - "the long wait is finally over....

"......and it was ____________ (fill in with "favorite" SS/TC) that was the cause of her demise......"

I got to BOs and they were not happy that they were to give me just under $1,000. They tell me it was to have been rolled into refi. They call LO and get in phone maze loop. I call TC and told they are at 98% and the loan was made for all that they qualified for. They can try to put it through again, and redraw, but if so, there will be additional charges -- mainly covering me twice.

BOs have to go into the bedroom to discuss. After 20 minutes they return saying okay, let's do it, but they will first have to call the bank. Not enough to cover the check so now they begin doing credit card cash advance roulette until they have enough money transferred.

Charm,
I also had a back-to-back yesterday and the docs weren't ready (side loan on one). The second one was printing after the borrowers had been waiting for an hour. They really shouldn't schedule b-to-b unless the docs are prepared for such an event. But, I loved it...in, sign, out, no faxing anything to anyone. Who could ask for more!

HDW...

lots of red tape, thankfully, they were both singles and the borrowers were well informed, got thru the first in twenty minutes and the next set were watching the video. I have a tension headache because I was asked to practically shout at one of the borrowers. I'm not used to that, the whole office could hear me.
Got one later and had to turn down a truck-stop signing, which would have been a first. Too bad, some of those places have the best big greasy tasty meals! Remember when lard was 'in'? lol
I know this from traveling and passing up the fast foods and waffle houses. Smiley

Re: HDW...

I had a first two nights ago. Had to sign at a funeral home. The borrowers grandfather had passed away and he wanted to go ahead with the loan as it was dated for that date. Food Courts at malls, Hardee's, on trunk lids, in nursing homes, on the floor, pets everywhere, one where the husband did not tell his wife he was refi-ing their home until I showed up, but never before in a funeral home. But, all went well and I got outta' there.

I was always raised that it's not the dead who will hurt you.
