What exactly am I missing here? Per the SOS website:
"The form set forth in Civil Code section 1189 did not change, but variations in the California form are no longer permitted."
What exactly is different about the new acknowledements vs the old ones if the wording is the same?

Cali - see message 83780. That's the only part of the new req's that make any difference to us, IMO. Also search for Harry's post about his dilemma in printing ack's that meet the new law for sale here on NotRot.

You can also fill one out with the proper gender of the signer and indicate plural/singular signer(s) at notarydepot.com it's free also.
