I am not sure if it's the same or not but I have a certificate titled: California Copy Certification by Document Custodian . Is that what you are referring to?

That document would be provided by the Custodian themselves, not you. You would notarize the acknowledgement contained within it, provided it was an acceptable acknowledgment.
