Low ball fees,
I was reading a post earlier and was wondering,
Does it seem like a number of SS who find agents through this and other sites seem like the SS's who pay low ball fees? do companies who offer reasonable fees search these sites? What do you think the percentages are?

Brian, my personal experience has been that the low ball fees aren't from my "regulars" but from these SS and even a few TCs that have to troll to find a notary to accept the low fee. I have never been asked to accept a low fee from any company I regularly do business with. Try to build a good working relationship with those companies that do have a good rep and a fair pay scale.

Diff exp
My experience is that the lowest price jerks find me on NNA's site: SigningAgent.com
My better-paying clients find me on NotRot
I haven't paid NNA any dues for a long, long time. But they keep my listing posted. Guess this is so NNA can say they have millions of experienced SA's on their site.

I get lots of calls from my listings on NotaryRotary and 123notary, mostly good calls from loan reps, title companies and also some decent paying SS, but get a few from lowball services and I do have to wonder, do they think that I am paying to advertise so that they can find me? I had one company call, they had a signing with 6 persons to sign, (3 couples) and they each wanted a separate appointment, they were offering to pay $100.00 total for the 3 appointments, that was the worst lowball I had ever heard. However I dont get too many lowball offers from my advertising.
