National Signers Network

Anyone else get a fax inviting you to join nationalsigners.com for a fee of $49.00? It's supposed to be a directory of SA's marketed to title companies, lenders, etc. Their website is nationalsigners.com

I received it. I also received one by Leading Edge Mortgage services the day before: "......A signing typically takes as hour of the notaries' time for which LEMS will pay the notary $50 for their service! Too good to be true? Not at all!...." ( Any typos/grammar in the quote is theirs.)

one hour ... so it must be on my block, less than 60 pages, overnite docs (complete with hud and affidavits etc), well informed borrowers, docs match what LO told borrower, no misspellings in docs, no fax docs, no fax backs. no calls to TC/SS/LO. LOL !!!!!

I think they are recruiting non SAs for they also state " Once you have completed your first signing and see how easy it is you will be glad you have become part of the fastest growing signing services in the nation!" Oh, they also request an imprint of the notary stamp and or Seal. www.lenss.com

Re: Non SA's Boy that's going to be interesting. nm

Their website does not reflect the fax I received,. The site states that they are looking for the "cream of the crop" , the fax states that they'll send samples of notarized docs to the notary public in order to help with the docs???

Re: You're all comparing apples to .........

oranges. National Signers Network is a marketing sign. From what I see on their website you pay $49.00 and your name is exposed to title companies, lenders etc. I don't see much difference in what they are doing vs. what is in place already here at NotRot. Just wanted to see what opinions you people have and you're all talking about a SS or whatever that won't pay much!

FYI....for what it's worth, National Signers Network and Great Lakes Notary are owned by the same person.

You are so correct! I re-read the post. I believe you are correct "re:not much difference." My personal opinion is do your own marketing. Buy envelopes and stamps, mass produce your Intro. letter. We already know what audience we want to market too.
You can purchases a lot of TC/Escow names on line for about $50bucks for 1,000 names and addresses. Cheap, effective and you aren't waiting for someone to see your name, go after your own business. Personally I am going to stop advertising on some of these boards it's a waste of money for what you recieve from them. SS I don't even sign-up with them-why would you want to split your money with them?
So save your money you don't need to buy anyone's book or attend some hype seminar. It's just marketing and you can get all the information you need about marketing from the library, or just go on-line. A great weekend project for a person who plans on doing this full-time.
A business is a business is a business.

Better watch out -- everyone will be requesting you e-mail and/or fax your marketing letter and TC/Excrow contact list.

LOL ! I'm afraid that's just something people will have to do for themselves. Just like you and I had to do.
