It may take up to 2 months. It depends what State and Area you are in since alot of people post that some areas are saturated. Therefore, it is important to not stop marketing. The National Notary Association is a source of reference for you - i.e. supplies, books, customer service when you have a question. The website will tell you further about their purpose, although alot of people are upset because the NNA markets the SA business as a lucrative business which has caused for the over saturation but anyway they do have some good things to offer. Re: their list you need to go under Signing Agent section, after you log on and take a look at the additional companies that are listed there which you would contact directly based on the company's preferred method of contact.

How many SSs have you signed up with? What are you doing to market yourself besides sitting besides an idle phone? What is your experience? How long have you been a notary? Do you know your State's handbook (notary rules) forward and back? Do you have any experience with loan documents other than what the NNA has told you? Do you have legal or real estate experience?
