Thanks to those who have come in and balanced out the mix.

Everyone is so nice...sooooo gracious to act like you think poor Charm's awful jokes are funny...humoring TitleGal over that ugly little dog of hers (rat)...oh, and this one takes the cake all you do-gooders! I tune in to our channel and there is a 50 foot long thread with you all being so, nice nasty nice ...all this chortling and giggling...chatting with Charles about his BOOTIES?

You people need to stop this fun and frolicking nonsense. I need someone to come with me because there is work to be done. Put on your workboots and bring your craft scissors, old yarn and any of those eye-buttons if you have them.

We shall go out into the night and lie in wait for a sockpuppet or two.

individuals posting lately. I think Brenda would be the person to answer this question, far better than I. By the way Brenda is that Myers or Bacardi??? Eggnog is nasty stuff unless you dilute it with liberal amounts of spirits!

A sockpuppet is a person who creates more than one alias so they can have a type of conversation with themself. They do it for attention...like causing issues, or making themself look good, etc. It happens frequently in chat rooms.

Thanks eX. There is a game where you bash ground squirrels with a hammer. I first ran across it at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. They have a childrens section and when my daughter was young she used to enjoy that game. I believe I have seen it in the arcade sections a county fairs recently. In the game there arre a series of holes and ground squirrels pop up out of the holes at andom and you try to bash them with a rubber mallet. If you bash one you win a prize. I was reminded of that game with the sockpuppets Brenda has been bashing lately and so I thought she might elucidate on the problem.

eX - Thanks for that info. I really did not know that a sockpuppet was other than a sockpuppet. CaliNotary was the one who brought the term to the board because of this latest one we had.

So....people do that little thing all the time? Wow. Live and learn.

Carolyn, the husband just told me that to meet in Castle Rock would be better as there are better restaurants there???? But, I'm up for whatever! Starting from 12/16, here and now, my calendar is free. Of course, that will change as soon as I post this. But, that my schedule, and for now I'm sticking to it!!

I could argue with you about your statement but the proof is in the puddin' and my name is on the board repeatedly; I caused it to be there. My actions agree with you. Okay, busted.

But, let's talk about you.

You/all of you/sockpuppets (whomever) are regularly saying things to harrass me.

You do not do it like a discussion, we are not debating...you are doing it to intimidate and harrass.

As long as you are anonymous, it is vaguely threatening to be harrassed and I don't like your undertones.

Whether you are male or female, what you are doing by harrassing me anonymously is bordering on deviant --if not already there.

No mentally healthy, well-balanced man or woman has an interest in being an anonymous harrasser. Well-balanced people do not sneak around making words and sentences they will not take ownership of.

You want to say something negative and intimidating so you can feel powerful.

No one does this over and over again out of a normal drive or motivation. It is a compulsion and it is not healthy.

No matter WHY you do it, YOU DO IT. Just like I post a lot --why? Because I like it.

You anonymously harrass me -- why? Because you like it.

You enjoy what it does for you on some level.

Eight people have taken time out of their day to call or write to tell me that I should stop ignoring that you (all of you) might be a real nut job...they actually said a lot more than that.

After I thought it through, I realized this anonymous thing is a problem, more than my inconvenience at trying to read threads. It is pretty sick for you to continue this for so long. My conclusion is that you are getting a pay off from it somehow. Any anonymous posting that is designed to put down others and to elevate the poster to a superior level is a deviant power trip and a psycho-sexual thing that is just too sick to be involved with now that I recognize it for what it is.

I will take any further snide or negative remarks made by an Anon as a warning and leave.

Can I do anything to stop you? I doubt it, but you never know, Anon. Maybe I can. I am a person of action. I seldom go shopping. I go buying. Of course, I will appeal to Harry over it so he can watch for further problems, but really, the best thing is for me just to get out of your way until you locate another person to hate.

A good example of sock puppet:

When my four year old is bored, or starving for attention, (i have not yet figured out which) She will remove her socks from her feet, put one on each hand and will hold conversations with them. She will even go so far as to give them names, families and pets.

moral of the story....sock puppet is a game children play.
Unfortunatley, there are childish notaries that play this game on not rot.
