Sorry, never heard of them before. They could be a new ss. If you list their location you might be able to get some info. from other notaries out there.

Your last recourse is just give them a call and ask how long they have been in business. Ask them when they pay 2/weeks or 30 days. Could be a SA who is also a SS??

It has not been 30 days since the closing date but the borrower backed out 1/2 through the closing due to the prepayment penalty.

I sent an invoice for my full fee and as of yet I have not been stiffed by a SA. I'm not worried yet, I just wanted to get an idea of what they are like if anyone else has worked with them.
