Please lets ignore

the people on this site who feel like making cracks at everyone they can (Missy, etc). It is pointless to respond to these people and only makes them want to harrass people on this board more. Maybe if we just ignore it as a whole group instead of responding back to their pointless posts we would filter out those people leaving the rest of us who really want to learn and expand their knowledge in this profession.
The only reason I am posting is to see if we can decrease the amount of personal bashing, and rude comments that some posters feel the need to make about others. We get away from what the actual question posted was about leaving the original poster still without an answer, just to engage in the pointless comments.
Sorry if you feel this was a waste of your time to read, I just thought if we make a group effort, real posts would be the priority. Thanks

I think you are right. The Missy and Anon posts are simply meant to "incite" and tick people off and we fall for the bait every time, giving them exactly what they want. Ignoring is the best solution.

Nice idea, but it will never happen. Why? People feel the need to respond. Whether good, bad or in between. Yes, the rude people tend to get in the way of a good post, especially those that hi-jack a well meant question or comment. There will always be those posters. That's true of whatever message board you're on. To be honest, your posting the way you did may be well intentioned but it's no better than those you're trying to ignore. It's also incites responses.

I completely agree with Shan. I read this board and get alot of useful information, especially from Beth, Cali and Cal and numerous others. I do have to admit, reading some of the posts it reminds me of how many rude people there are out there. To all of those metioned in Missy's post, thank you for all of your wisdom and insight into this crazy biz. I am truly grateful.
