Purchases/IN

I have been a certified signing agent for almost a year. I have done refinance, 1st and 2nd and HELOC. When I took the on line course I never studied "purchases" The last few days I have gotten calls to do a "purchase". I was unaware that this type of loan falls under the criteria for SSA. I told the companies that I was unfamiliar with a purchase so they naturally declined my services. Should I be handling these types of documents too?
