Question about this DEADBEAT site...regulars please see

What I saw when I looked at the site was that "Backroad" websites or something was creating the site.

Well, they are out of Colorado and so is Bonnie. Just a question, but Bonnie, how did YOU find the site? Do you do searches for that regularly on the web? Or are you part of it? I find it strange that someone from the same state alerts us to this thing.

and furthermore, I think that even with the disclaimer they have posted, they can still be held liable to some extent. Had it been a different kind of site maybe not but this site is pretty blatant. Or so I'm told.

However, when you accuse her simply because she is from Colorado, that is totally absurd. There are several SAs in Colorado -- in our spare time we got together and put the site together.

I cut the above from Bonnie's original post. Go to GMN and you will see that it was not Bonnie that started the thread over there.

Furthermore, when you decide not to be a coward, you can then ask for some kind of respect instead of dragging anyone through the mud!!!

Oh and yes, before I get trigger happy with myself this evening, I have worked with Bonnie and do not foresee her doing something like this in her off time, to me it seems she barely has any time. She is professional and "on it" with her bad self..........

Who do you think you are to take a swipe at Bonnie while hiding behind your anonymous handle like a coward?? Bonnie IS a "regular" here. We know her personality, how she posts, and where she comes from. You, on the other hand are the worst sort of anonymous, suggesting Bonnie might have had some ulterior motive for her post. As we know her, we also know you and your comments are worthless, groundless and nothing more than a cheap shot.

If this is the best you can do for your own personal amusement, I suggest you do an internet search yourself.... Try this "get a life".

Geez, I guess you have to be from the state where the site is created...NOT!!!!, this is the internet! Might I remind you that this is the WORLD WIDE WEB!!! SHEESH! Just the fact that you posted Anon...breathes life into my point. You can be anyone anywhere without someone knowing exactly where you are from or who you are. ENOUGH SAID!!

What bothers me about this deadbeat site is that most often we as Notaries perform our duties alone. A borrower often times uses us as a punching bag for being uniformed. They don't always understand that we are independant contractors. If they are not happy with the paperwork they blame us. What recourse do we have then? Our word against theirs? Are companies going to post without us being able to defend ourselves? There are always two sides. Luckily I have not run into too many unreasonable borrowers....yet. But it does happen.

The information posted on such sites better be completely accurate and verifiable. Otherwise in Connecticut it gives rise to a host of legal actions, and not just the usual civil actions for defamation. There is also the matter of unfair trade practices...much easier to prove in court than common law defamation suits.

Hey Anonymous.....GET A LIFE!

1-Read through the original msg, it tells you EXACTLY where I found the information.
2- I've also seen the information regarding this site at the Source of Title message board.
3- I did not post the message at either site.
4-I barely have time to keep my own site updated, (which, by the way, is NOT done by Backroads), much less time to sit around and dream up stupid sites like the one mentioned.
5-How is it, that even IF Backroads is out of Colorado, that the address for the company is in FL. Where are YOU from? Florida maybe?
6- No, I don't sit around looking for these types of sites, I have MUCH better things to do with even my free time...imagine that! You should try it!

Or so your told? You didn't look at the site? You sure are giving a lot of OPINION about something you supposedly haven't seen...that's interesting....

I am not the one hiding, when I post it has my name right there for the world to see, looks like you're the one that might have something to hide Anonymous! Not me.
