Question regarding Notary affiliations
I know there are a few states that have active notary associations. Here in Ohio, the State Bar Association extends an associate membership to paralegals, but nothing is available to notaries. I was wondering if any other state bars extended some type of membership status to notaries, with the thought that this could be a resource for continuing notary education (and some lobbyists to mandate it). Would appreciate information if any notaries here are members of your state bar or are aware of any around the country that extend membership to notaries.
