Reminder to Notaries: Please boycott SOX

Unfortunately, I didn't read the postings regarding Sign on the X's failure to pay. I am now one of many calling every other day asking for status of payment. Every week I am told that payment will be sent out but it never arrives. Please don't make the same mistake I did by working for SOX.
By the way, does anyone have some suggestions on how to get SOX to pay (besides phone calls)? Should I send a letter of demand and then pursue small claims court? Or wait it out?

Any help would be appreciated!

You can do, all you suggested, small claims(think of your time and cost) you may have to write it off as a loss in the end, hope it wasn't big big bucks?

I've done 2 signings for SOX and was paid for both. I politely called Accts Payable after the second singing and explained that I am a former legal secretary, with expertise in collection and real estate law. I reminded her that San Diego is only a stone's throw away and I was more than willing to institute a case in Small Claims Court. Like magic, I had my check 3 days later.
