Signing Service disguising themselves as a TC

Be mindful at all times to ask the right questions when you are on the Road. I forgot this simple task and I am completely upset at myself.

I was in a rush to my evening closings because the Edocs were late..anyway, I get a call to do a signing next week and they actually stated they were "..... Title" mind you the name they stated is a client of mine that I at least complete a few signings a month for them. Well, anyway just getting home to review my e-mails and find out it is not, it is one of the low ball signing services. During my conversation, I failed to confirm the fee and of course, there is no fee in the confirmation.

I will rectify this in first thing in the morning and inquire why they would actually call and state another name and that is not who they are -- how inappropriate! UGH!

I had nations direct try the same stunt on me 2nite. Guess they are getting desperate.... I've told them at least 6!!!!!! times in the last 2 weeks I will not work for them and not to call me again. This call was at 7:00pm 2nite for last minute edocs 50 miles away...... and the price they wanted to pay was $75.00.

Remember to always ask who,what, and where. My first question is how much? Then Where, because :where: might make it more money. After that we leave it up to God.

Yep, always ask...and I check. Just keep a list near the phone.
