Suggestion to improve NotRot in 2006
I find some useful information here but separating the wheat from the chaff is time consuming and getting more so all the time. It would be GREAT if Harry would break the Notary Talk into separate topics like these: (1) newbies (questions like - I heard I can make $150.00 per hour doing this notary stuff. Where do I buy a notary thing. I don't know what you call it). And when you post on this topic it automatically tells you to read message 33325 first and gives instructions on using the orange search button. (2) I post instead of calling the lender/tc (quesions like - I know I could phone the lender or title company and get the correct answer immediately but I'd rather post here, not give the state I live in or the lender's name, and see how many completely different guess answers I get. (3) Off Topic (OT), chit-chat, email me when you get home and I'm bored so I'll post here to pass time instead of going to a chat room somewhere else on the internet. And finally useful topics. (4) Dead beat companies and ways that have worked in getting them to pay. (5) Questions from experienced notary signing agents who actually know the difference between being an employee and self-employed. Well, I can dream Notary Talk on Notary Rotary was set up that way.

Your dreams have come true, Try TSR
Not to knock NOTROT, which is an excellent resource. I have been a paid member of Notrot for many years and intend to continue to be so. However, a message board, generally, as you describe, but even better, currently exists, together with lots of other usefull goodies. Join The Signing Registry, and see for yourself.

Re: Signingregistry.com N/M
Right on - NOTROT only shows the first 25 Premium members. I used to get calls from here all the time, now my name does not show up when you are searching for a Notary. I belong to the Signing Registry and will stay with them also due to their format. I love the way it is set up by topics.
