Title Companies Non-Payments?
I am having a hard time getting paid from 2 title companies. I've never had issue with non-payment from title companies, only SS and I believe it's because I refused to backdate for both companies and also for one of the companies, I would not notarize my own signature on a document.
Has anyone else had difficulty getting paid from TC, and if so how was it handled? I know there is always discussion on these boards about collecting from SS, and most of the time a simple call to the title company will resolve it, but since this is the TC not paying, I'm wondering if I should contact the lender? I've called and called and sent email after email with no response. I am baffled as to why they are not responding to me or returning my phone calls.

Thank you Brenda! When I did a search on collections and title companies, i couldn't find what I was looking for. That thread gives me alot of insight on what my next step will be. I'll give them a couple more weeks.
