United Notaries Visited Once Again

After a search, I went ahead and thought I would take a few orders from this company. That was in March, I am still waiting payment. I get no response to emails, letters, phone calls or anything. At one point I received a letter back from the post office with a new address for them. I updated my files, gave them the benefit of the doubt again as to moving and possibly not getting mail, still no answer to this day.

From the posts I read today, it seems they have habits of not paying anyone. Make sure you don't do work for these guys unless you like working for free.

This is truly a case of believe what you read. They hooked me in early Feb. and paid immediately for the first two loans I did and then stuck me with 3 others.

I did two for them one in august and another in september and I would call email. I finally went online (Better Business Bureau) and they contacted United Notaries, I finally received payment this month.

unfortunately, with many of the SS out there, you don't have a choice but to 'threaten" them with the State Atty's office, the BBB and possibly a law suit if they don't pay what is obligated.

This is why I NEVER EVER sign any agreements with them ... they themselves are guilty of non-compliance of their own agreement contracts.

Although UN has always paid me on a timely manner... my fear is they will stick me like many others. I'm not saying all SS are like this...there are many who are very good, while there are others who should never be in business.

Again...the risk of this business!
