My husband knows Marco (the MS homeowner in the article) personally and can say his house was a beautiful home. Being from MS gulf coast, the sad truth is, you see this heartbreaking devastation from the Louisiana state line to the Alabama state line. My own son was there as many on the board may remember. When my sister and I drove into town 3 days after the storm, we knew then that life for us (we have houses there) and our families and neighbors will never be the same. Unfortunately, many people who thought the insurance coverage was there to help are now faced with the same dilemna as the Marco and his family. To stay or to just leave........
